Haiz, i'm feeling quite sad today. Today my friend sent me a chain sms. Its about friends and it goes like this.

"We might be best friends one year, pretty good friends the next year, don't talk that often the next year, and don't want to talk at all the year after that. So i just wanted to say, even if i never talk to you again in my life, you are still my friend and you make a difference in my life. I look up to you and respect you. Send this to all your friends, no matter how often you talk to them, or how close you are to them. Let old friends know you haven't forgotten them and tell new friends you never will. I like you because of who you are to me, that is a true friend."

When i saw this, i don't know why i felt a deep sadness in my heart. Friends. I didn't forward the chain sms to my friends because, i just don't know how many friends that i have left. I count everyone that i know as my friends, maybe some closer friends. But now i think back, even those 'close friends', how many are there that also count me as a friend? I can still remember there is one incident that a friend forgotten who i am. A friend that i have been same class with for FIVE years. It feels so disappointing. No wonder why people say that "Family is more important than friends". Friends will leave you one day, but family will never leave you.
